The course was very informative and everything was broken down so it's easy to follow and understand for beginners. This course does not include a kit. I believe you should be able to choose your own machine, and supplies according to what YOU want to spend. There are AMAZING machines available that will make your life so much easier when tattooing. There are also very cheap machines that you might want to purchase while you are learning and practicing. I include links and an Amazon shopping list to ALL supplies. If you have supply questions, feel free to reach out!
Also included in the course are PDF files of pre-made consent forms, aftercare cards, links to all supplies needed, tiny tattoo flash sheets for you to offer your clients or practice with, and procedure steps you can easily refer to so you are never lost! You will have lifetime access to the course to refer to whenever you need as well.
You will have access to our Tiny Tattoos for Beginners Facebook group with over 3,000 students where you can ask questions at any time, talk to everyone about experiences you've had, and post photos of your awesome work!
The only person who can actually license you to become an artist is your local government. When you complete this course, you will receive a certificate of completion. You will need to contact your local health department to find out if there are additional requirements for licensure. Some states require no license while others are very strict and require many hours of apprenticeship. Please do your own research.
A tiny tattoo is just that! A small tattoo. It's no different than any other tattoo. It's just tiny!
Single needle tattoos are usually small, delicate or finely detailed tattoos. The needle cartridge used is a 1rl. This means 1 single needle is in the cartridge. This creates a very fine, delicate line.
All tattoos can fade! A single needle tat isn't any different. Many things can cause a tattoo to fade quicker including placement, the depth of ink, and aftercare.
All states have different requirements for getting a tattoo license. Please ask your local health department for details.
No! This a great course for complete beginners. I teach all the basics you need to know to get started tattooing. Once you master tiny tattoos and linework, there are so many other opportunities and styles if you are interested!
No! There are many styles of tattooing that would require you to be artistic. This minimalist tiny tattoo style does not require you to be artistic. It is definitely helpful at times if someone wants something very custom or changed at the last minute but in general you will be tracing over images or using fonts for script tattoos.
You can make anywhere from minimum $65 up to $500 +. There are many artists who charge top dollar for their tiny tattoos. I will link a few IG accounts in the "links" section where you can see the potential of earning in this business!
